Karen, just do that kitty rain dance.  It worked!!!

I showed the video to my kitties. I won't tell you what they said about it (or my chances of getting them to replicate it here)!

Good morning, everyone. The server was misbehaving this morning but I thinks it's okay now.

Regular work isn't as much fun as the expo but I guess it's necessary. If only I'd been born rich instead of so good looking. Roll Eyes  I hope everyone has a great day.

Glad you got it working Jeff. I'm sure that at 7am when I first tried it, I was the only one (other than perhaps M, but she's supposed to be on vacation!).

Another average summer day coming up - today we have to wait on the stove repair guy, to see why we can't get the over level in the new range (well, we could, but the front end has to stick up 3/4 of an inch over the top of the countertop).

Working on the rain dance.  I'm trying to teach Junior the cat.  I can get him to stretch up, but he doesn't have the butt wiggle right.  We didn't get any rain yesterday so he's gonna have to get dancing today!!!!

I moved a small tree--it needs the rain.  I used half my rain barrel.  It needs the rain too...

Server looks great from my end.  Grin

Yes, I had a problem, but I thought it was my Dad's computer.  It's been really slow. Also had a problem with his mouse, so I picked one up on the way to the beach (another adventure). Now that the new mouse is in, all the pages are loading faster. I think it just wasn't communicating.

First time reading my K on the beach. I bought one of those dry paks and it stayed dry and sand free.

Dang-it, I take back what I said about the server.  I typed in a great reply to the racial divide thing--I was eloquent, sensitive and brilliant. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!)  Only problem is that when I hit go, the server dumped it somewhere.

Well, rats.  We shall all suffer now.  The words have been snuffed by the universe!

I'm just so excited that I've got a working mouse, I don't know what to do with myself.

I'm on vacation. Why am I up so early?   Roll Eyes  Maybe I'll get to sleep on the train this time.

Nice dinner out with the family last night. Trying to get to the beach early this morning so we can get a parking space. It will be our last visit since we're doing a family breakfast tomorrow and then we head back Saturday morning.

Definitely have a safe trip back.

The rain finally arrived, so my kitties are safe from Rain Dance 101 lessons (good thing, Nutmeg has tiny razor blades for claws and doesn't like being made to do anything). More rain appears to be in the forecast, although it doesn't look like we are cooling down, any. Low to mid-90's all week (and mostly sunny after today).  I need to freeze or dry a bunch of veggies - right now I have four veggie drawers (all but one in two frig's) full of garden produce and one counter half full of tomatoes (and that's after making a half-gallon of salsa and freezing a few gallons of tomatoes, already). This year's garden has been very good, with corn and squash doing better than usual. Stepson came in with a two-foot long cucumber yesterday, after complaining the day before that there "weren't any more cukes on the vines;" sounds like I need to go down and check for myself.

I should get some Kitchen pics up soon - it's pretty much done, except for baseboard trim and some minor adjustments (that won't be visible), as we got the door casings up yesterday and all three doors re-hung (and now they look so bad in comparison, we may decide to replace them, too). After that, we have to find everything we packed away and find it a new home. We have more cabinet space, by far, but fewer drawers, so it's going to be a bit of an adjustment.

Well, we are cool ... in comparison with Jeff. Only around 70 this am and only heading up to 92. At least the monster thunderstorms of yesterday are not in the forecast. We had over an inch and a half of rain, but lots and lots of thunder and lightning to shake up the house.
